this is an arm sleeve that i have been working on for the last couple of months. it is very unique and one of a kind. i am trying to use a very illustrative style to this tattoo as if it were one of my paintings. I can definitely see a style developing out of this for me. i believe that the influences on me thus far, other than tom and tasha (two artists that i work) with would be tattooer, uncle allan (http://www.uncleallan.com/) and fine artist, brom (http://www.bromart.com/)
im not done yet with this piece, there are already two mythical beasts at play here. there is a minotaur and a fawn. the next monster that will be added is medusa and her flowing head of snakes to cap off the lower half of this sleeve. we will probably throw in some of the undead due to a pre existing zombie tattoo.
.
these next three paintings are by the artist mentioned above, uncle allan. they could be deamed satanic or innapropriate by individuals that are looking at them. i encourage you to do as i have done and look past that and realize the level of detail and illustrative stylings of this master.
The last part of the blog here is going to bring up one of my favorite fine artists that i was introduced to in art school and have had the pleasure of meeting, Brom. he has worked on many fantasy card games and book covers as well as being the driving force behind his own books now totalling three. well i hope that you enjoy the art presented to you and i leave with thanking my heros for thier inspiration. please stay tuned to watch my art grow and illustrative tattoos become more refined.
