Great video on the principle of connective mind and self.

David Icke is much more connected to the universe and has a much stronger meditative mind than i would have ever believed.

THE PROBLEM IS OVER USAGE OF COMPUTER GENERATION.

well here we go i am sure that my blog is bound to make die hard fans of movies mentioned angry sad and happy . let me first give you some background of where i am coming from on this. in 1993 a movie was released called Jurassic park. at the time i was in junior high and the film was being released on the  last day of school. before Summer break(before year round school). most of the kids around me or that were my age wore looking foreword to the almost three month long summer break.but as for my best Friend Jason and myself we couldn't wait for the amazing book turned movie Jurassic park. it was going to be amazing right! well the school bell rang we walked to the theater and the amazement of cg and believable dinosaurs was meld into our lives forever. we ate breathed sculpted and drew our own dinosaurs all  summer long . it was fantastic.

i dreamed of one day becoming a cg animator i read up on he proses and idea behind it and like a million other people dreamed dreamed of creating the beasts for Hollywood ,and working for industrial lights and magic. this was only re established when uncle George did the most amazing thing ever and re released the 1997 versions of star wars.

I couldn't put my finger on it @ the time do to me being such a large fan of the films but it was odd the cg was not as good as Jurassic park a film that had been released before the re releases. let me again say i love all the films i am about to discuss and have worked for Lucas film the company all fan boys dream of.

i later and over time realized what was wrong was usually the thing i was noticing that i couldn't put my finger on was that the computer generated character was not believable because it wasn't. for the sake of time and your boredom i will get to the point.films that are in the present market that seem to work for me as far as cg goes are the majority of pirates of the Caribbean do to the motion capture of the main actors. the next would be all of the hell boy films and pans labyrinth or the  films done by
Guillermo Del Toro.
del toro seatlle con

the reason the characters appeared to be so believable was that there were actors on partial prosthetics and old movie costumes with partial cg overlays to give the characters the basis of movement and reality based acting and visualization. throughout its proses the characters movement could be added to the character and produce a more believable character.  now i do know that this has been employed in all of the above films i cant leave out the T- Rex from Jurassic park. i cant leave out Davey Jones from pirates i mean for the love of god my tattoo parlor is the flying Dutchman. basically all i am saying is that i believe it is a Moore believable and reliable technique for the film maker to rely on than all cg. i mean do your own count in your head of characters that employ both as opposed to one or the other. i will show you to of my favorites Davey Jones and lord voldamort.

but the film avatar was amazing with all the cg and the motion capture it was amazing. well I'm sure i could talk about this for hours but it is the day of giving thanks and i need more pie so here i go to indulge my pie craving have a good nite all.

Happy thanksgiving from Tydus and myself

creating my new flash

well hello there all. I hope that everyone out there is having a good Tuesday morning thus far. i am jazzed do to the fact that i get to pick up my son tonite . the other reason you ask? the answer, is yesterday i started a new piece of flash. i am a tattooer so as I'm sure you can imagine this is nothing new @ all to my routine of things to paint.

the way that it differs from my normal paintings or my normal flash is in the subject matter and the medium that i produced it in and on. normally when i do flash i am like most tattoo artist and use a form of water color paper i use arches personally because it is a medium roughness and always and, i mean always provides the proper consistency of the absorption . the next step is to use speedball ink and water to create my grey shades and fade outs and of cores at this point to fill in the solid black parts allowing it to dry. the last steps would then to be to add the color if it is not a black and grey piece. i would suggest the Dr.Martin ink for this part of the proses you can delude it and fade the color out to amazing consistency or you can put the paint on extremely thick for an almost over powering color blast.  the last part of the proses is the finalization of the black lines and some times i will add white highlights with a prismacolor white colored pencil just to make things pop a bit more.

so now that i have put you to sleep with my explanation of how i do water colors normally , go ahead grab some hot coco and a blanket and get ready to well go back to sleep because now how i did this flash. the way that i produced my odd well odd for me subject matter of a harry potter flash set is with acrylic on canvas paper , last but not least i had to be a dork. i started with a nice and very light grey wash over the in tire canvas which made it look almost as if was dusty or drop ed on the ground. the second step was a wash of really light green watered down. I really wanted this piece to stand out and be as if from the world of harry potter , as if it could be a scroll from Hogwarts or the ministry showing the dark mark.

to achieve this effect i outlined and and shaded each small piece with its own watered down color producing a purple, black and grey and green dark mark. well as established i am a nerd so i did go to see the deathly hollows this past week  so in its honor i made the symbol of the deathly hollows in red and slightly illuminated with a metallic gold acrylic. even though the shine for the metallic cold paint cannot be reproduced in the exact manner in a tattoo i felt that it really made the piece start to come together as a scroll or document look as opposed to just another flash sheet, tho finish this effect off i put notwork in golds and silver framing the sides of the images, to achieve a worn look i did uneven painting and used a watered down black to help frame it in and look inconsistent.

well feel free to stand and stretch now that i am done making you sleep. as far as paint for this project it is liquitex basics for the color. i find that i can layer there basic paint to become very thick or if i need to water it down or be thin it is very easy to achieve. t metallic paint id also acrylic and from deco art company they have an amazing shine to them that is almost believable of gold leafing.

well this is the blog and probably way to much nerd info for you guys and galls . i hope @ least you like the image i plan on doing some moore harry potter flash soon just for shits and giggles . well have a good Tuesday guys and if your here in the states have a great thanksgiving.

Tattooing one of my favorites

This is a classic Japanese design re worked with my style . the mask is a hannya and the snake that is coiling through its mouth is my interpretation of a viper. the client wanted to cover up  a piece that I had tattooed  some time ago . after some brain storming he  decided to cover  his back  with a solid classic piece. i chose a large Japanese mask because one i love them and well who the hell wouldn't want to tattoo one?
i will attach some info here on the hannya and its history . stay tuned for updated on this tattoo.

Hannya (般若) mask is a Japanese ritual mask used in Noh theater, representing a jealous female demon. It is used to represent the malice or sublime emotions of human beings. It possesses two sharp bull-like horns, glaring eyes, and a leering mouth split from ear to ear.[1]
The Hannya mask has been used in many noh and kyōgen Japanese plays. Like many other ritual masks the Hannya mask has been used in dance, theater, festivals, Shinto and Buddhist rituals. The origin and creation of the Hannya mask varies. Japanese literature’s concepts of cosmos and anticosmos have been linked to the story behind the female demon known as Hannya. It is said that the frightening Hannya mask portrays the souls of characters who have gone mad from jealousy. Plays in which a person may wear the hannya mask include in the Tale of GenjiAdachigahara andDōjōji.
In the Tale of Genji the story goes: "The shining Genji's wife, Aoi, is possessed by an evil spirit and confined to her sickbed. An itinerant mountain priest is summoned, and while he is offering incantations and prayers, the protagonist, the spirit of the shining Genji's old girlfriend, the Rokujo lady, who is jealous of his affection for Aoi, manifests. The priest wages a bitter spiritual battle with the Rokujo lady, and at last the revengeful ghost is vanquished by his prayers and attains Buddhahood. It is noteworthy that the evil spirit never takes off the hannya mask throughout her transformation into a Buddha. The Rokujo lady is still disturbed, but in the releasing of her madness she discovers a path to salvation, thus demonstrating that madness and sanity, suffering and salvation, are not unrelated to each other"
The Hannya mask is said to be dangerous and demonic, but also sorrowful and tormented displaying the complexity of human emotions. Further meaning behind the mask is found in the definition of hannya a Sino-Japanese word for prajna or wisdom. The word hannya is associated with madness, but in Buddhism it signifies wisdom of enlightenment. In regards to the mask’s creation a Buddhist sutra called Hannya Kyo is said to have an influence on female demons also known as "Hannya". The creation of the mask has also been associated with an artist active in the late 15th or early 16th century called Hannya-bo (bo is usually added to end of an artist’s name who has the rank of priest) who might have been the first to carve the mask of hannya. The hannya mask usually has pointed horns, metallic eyes and teeth, the mask’s expression shows anger, resentment and wrath. The oldest hannya mask is dated 1558. The most noticeable feature is its horns and the coloring of the mask is said to depict the intensity of anger. Three types of Hannya mask are used in Noh theater plays: the white hannya mask; representing noble women with jealous rage, red hannya mask; representing strong anger and the black hannya mask; representing poor and world-weary women.
The color of the flesh tones of the mask represents the social rank of the woman portrayed. For example a lighter complexion might indicate aristocratic status, light on top and red below indicating lower-class status, and completely red for true demons. Several traditions explain the name "hannya." The use of hannya masks in plays is based on the idea of women who turn into demons because of jealousy and anger. The mask is also associated with the ghost world. The hannya mask in Noh plays falls under the category of masks that portray incarnate spirits of dead persons or ghosts from the netherworlds.

sacred and ancient body modifications in present day.

Wounded war victum ? Hatiian child wounded? No actually this young boy is living out a tribal custom that has been carried out by the villages and peoples of the Sudan for longer than recorded time.
The ritual is preformed as a ritual right of passassage that can last several days. The scars are cut in most commonly lines and dashes. There are many ways the cutting can be preformed from sharpend or filed down through razor blades. It is preformed usually inside a hut .
This particular one was preformed by the boys father and a shaman of sorts. This is the beginning as he grows older depending on the tribe and location of his village he could undergo many Moore rituals and possible teeth filing , in attempt to look Moore like a crocodile.

Many view this as extreme or sick. There are ethical conserns on pining a child Down and cuting designs into his flesh.there are also concerns of non steral conditions of witch these rituals are preformed in. What are your concerns? Are they put in place by the society of witch you were raised? Absalutly they were. I agree it isn't a social norm ......but it is from a strong culture. The boys father pind him Down and his did the same and his father to him and so on and so on until before time.

I don't thank as an American I could pin my son down and scar him like this without his consent for it. But then again I'm sure painful yes but that the boy did volunteer for the procedure. If I whole heartedly beloved it could save my village, ward of crocks and give my son long life why wouldent I participate?

Well I don't live in the Sudan . I have been to Africa wich inspired my ears to be stretched . But in a true western way I practiced an ancient right and have had 2 scars cut into my body. One a right of spiritual passage. I have a dipiction of the all seeing eye of god cut into my sternum. It was very painful and took a month and a half to heal. The procedure was far different from a small unclean mud hut. Cheyne the man that preformed the procedure was very skilled and used amazingly sterile conditions. He used a stencil of the exact image on my skin to make a blood lineing with a small scalple and then we.my back over it with a larger one to cut in the design deeper to cause it to scar and lift.

Now yes this is far different from it being the same process of my father pining me down. From it being the social norm but there are similarities. I had to pick out a man willing to preformed the write of passage. One who knew the art. The fact that it was a religious passage for myself. These are amazing similarities I see and connections I feel.

I wil say that we have mutated the practices of scarification in the west. Examples? Look no further than my right arm. I have taken an iconic symbol from the harry poter world called the dark mark, lord voldimorts symbol on the arms of his deatheaters and had it scared into my flesh. To extreme for some and to far for most but I believe it is beautiful. When I see the raised skin and pink flesh thru the tattoos that cover I've parts of it I feel ecstatic. Like a feeling no tattoo not drug or feeling I have ever gotten. One that links to the primal side of the human psyche , the god fearing, superstitious side. It is amazing and great to be part of that world to be primal to be MODERN PRIMITIVE.

aaaaaaaaggggggghhhhhhhh , well?

This was to be some crazy intro to the world of blogs and all things stupid crazy on the net. well if you know me hello . if ya don't i will let ya in on some things. I'm a nerd and artist. that is the simplest way to put it.
I own my own tattoo parlor and have a decent sized gallery of paintings and whatnot . we support the local arts by having other artist display there work here if they want. I am trying to branch out and connect with other artist across the board. Recently into photography and already love painting with acrylics and watercolors.

I have worked in every field of work imaginable from gardener all the way through Lucas film. well that is a basic intro . so if you want ,kick back and relax and enjoy the show .
